The 2014 world champions defeated Oman 1-0 in an international friendly on Wednesday in preparation for the showpiece in Qatar, with Borussia Dortmund's promising young striker handed his full debut.
Moukoko, who will turn 18 before the tournament begins, had only ever represented Germany at youth level prior to Wednesday as he struggled to make an impact on the game before being replaced in the second half.
Flick has suggested he was not concerned by what he saw from the Cameroon-born forward, who became the youngest Bundesliga player in history in November 2020.
"In the first half, I was not really satisfied overall," he told reporters.
"But you also need players around you who shape. He's young, he'll be 18 in the next few days.
"I'm really happy with the way he's giving everything in training, everything's wonderful.
"Give him the time he needs. We want to support him in this."
