With Brazil's 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign set to begin in a matter of days, one of the Selecao's stars has conceded that nobody in squad knows what the starting XI of their opening game will be.

While many of the top nations at the World Cup are facing injury woes, Brazil are the opposite as they have a plethora of stars at their disposal.
While having the likes of Neymar, Richarlison, Gabriel Jesus and Vinicius Junior available significantly bolsters their chances of extending their lead as record world champions, it perhaps creates a bit of uncertainty among the playing squad regarding their roles in the team.
The South American side recently had a five-day training camp in Turin, Italy, and having arrived in Qatar over the weekend, the five-time World Cup winners are seemingly no closer to figuring out who their starters will be for their first match at the tournament.
Juventus left-back Alex Sandro has admitted that head coach Tite has been playing his cards close to his chest, but added that the team remains ready no matter what.
"We have no idea who the starting eleven are – we are curious to know what the coach will decide and the competition is relentless to secure a spot," Sandro told members of the media, as per ESPN.
"Yet, regardless of who plays from the start, we are all prepared, we know what the plan is and what we have to do.
"The last few days in Turin were great and the squad is very confident in what we can achieve.

"I'm sorry for those players who get hurt and will miss the tournament. As to what concerns Brazil have, obviously it's good to have all the players fit and doing well.
"It's a sign that gives us a boost in confidence ahead of what's coming."
Tite's charges will begin their tournament by taking on Serbia on Thursday night as they hope to add a historic sixth star to their badge.
