The Catalan giants are reportedly set to sign winger Cardoso Varela from Croatian sign Dinamo Zagreb.

According to Record, FC Porto are not happy that Barcelona are going to sign the player after triggering his €5 million release clause.
The Portuguese giants claim that the 16-year-old was 'kidnapped' by his agent Andy Bara, who helped the player join to a fourth-division Croatian club from Porto, which eventually paved the way for the switch to Zagreb.
The 16-year-old was unable to play competitive football for an entire year due to the controversial switch to the Croatian fourth division side.
The report adds that Porto will submit a complaint to FIFA about Barcelona if the deal goes through, as they feel Varela was taken from the club in order to benefit the player's agent and lawyers.
The current ordeal could sour the relationship between Barcelona and Porto, while the player's agent does have links with the Spanish giants as he represents Dani Olmo and Joan Garcia.
