Since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon, Bruno Fernandes has settled into the Premier League with ease. The Portugal international has now credited midfield partner Paul Pogba with helping him adapt to life in Manchester.
Both United stars have been in top form since the season's restart as the duo have led the Red Devils to two wins in their past three games.
Fernandes has scored four goals and registered four assists in 12 appearances for United so far, and the 25-year-old believes that, without the help of French teammate Pogba, he might not have been able to fully focus on his on-field performances.
"Paul (Pogba) is the guy who came when I arrived with a big book and said, 'Where do you want to live, what price you want to pay, house or apartment'," Fernandes said, as per 90min.
"He flicked through the pages. I chose three or four places and he said, 'OK, tomorrow we will go and check all the houses.'
"I decided the next day... then I did the tests, then power tests, the next day I was with the team training and the next day I was playing against Wolves.
"And that day I went back to Portugal because the Premier League stopped, and when I arrived back I had the house. So settling in in Manchester was really fast.
"I couldn't imagine it would be fast like this because I lived in other countries and every time it was a problem to find a house and everything. It was fast and nice because everyone helped me."
