Anfield's Egyptian sensation continues to break records with the Reds, having already established legendary status among the Kop faithful.

In the UEFA Champions League earlier this week, the prolific winger became the highest African goalscorer in the competition's history. and the first Liverpool player ever to score in five successive home matches in the tournament.

Despite the continuation of his brilliant form since signing for the English giants, the 2024/25 campaign might be Salah's final season at the club.

His contract expires at the end of the season, and there have so far been no reports of negotiations over an extension commencing.

Pre-empting his departure, the six-time European champions have seemingly been scouting Europe for a possible replacement, and one of the players touted to succeed the Egypt captain on Merseyside, according to Bild, is Borussia Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi.

The Germany international has begun the season in brilliant form, scoring five goals and providing five assists in his opening eight appearances in all competitions.

The same report claims that Liverpool scouts have been in attendance for many of his matches in the Bundesliga so far this season, and appreciate his talents.
