The Norwegian has quickly established himself as one of Europe's most saught-after talents following his form for Dortmund in the past year.

Since joining the Bundesliga club in January 2020, Haaland netted 49 goals in 49 appearances which saw the striker claim the 2020 Golden Boy award.

There have been reports that the likes of Los Blancos, Man City, FC Barcelona and Chelsea are said to be keen, while Spanish outlet AS reported the striker favours a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Haaland will reportedly be available for £65million in 2022 when his release cause is activated next but if there are any suitors at the end of this season, they would need to pay £154million, according to ESPN.

The stratgey was made to fend off any interest as they plan to hold on to their top scorer, but it could back-fire as he is likely to leave for a much cheaper fee in 2022.

Haaland's agent, Mino Raiola, has previously revealed only 10 clubs can afford his client, four of which are from the Premier League.

"Only a maximum of 10 clubs can afford to buy Haaland and give the platform you would like after you've been in Dortmund, and four of those clubs are in England," he told BBC.
