With Real Madrid said to be thinking of replacing Zinedine Zidane at the end of the season, the Spanish giants have reportedly identified who they would like to succeed the Frenchman.
According to talkSPORT, Los Blancos are considering approaching RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann about replacing Zidane in their dugout ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Despite the success the French tactician has enjoyed as manager of the Spanish giants, questions have been raised about his playing style amid Real's inconsistent form in this campaign.
Zidane's side were knocked out of the Spanish Super Cup at the semi-final stage by Athletic Bilbao, and were dumped out of the Copa del Rey early after a shock loss to Spanish third division side Alcoyano.
Nagelsmann impressed early on in his coaching career during a three-year stint as Hoffenheim's first-team boss between 2016 and 2019, a position he first took on at the age of 28.
In doing so, he became the youngest-ever manager in Bundesliga history, before eventually being appointed by Leipzig, who are currently second in the German top flight.
Several other clubs across Europe are also reportedly interested in the 33-year-old's services, including Tottenham Hotspur.
