Bundesliga Wrap: Borussia Dortmund Grab Third Straight Win

Borussia Dortmund claimed a 2-0 victory over Union Berlin to keep their top four hopes alive in the Bundesliga.

Marco Reus first drew a foul in the penalty area in the 25th minute. Erling Braut Haaaland's spot-kick was saved but Reus netted from the rebound.

Raphael Guerreiro wrapped up the three points two minutes from time, as Dortmund remain in fifth position while Union are in eighth.

Wolfsburg claimed a convincing 3-1 victory away at VfB Stuttgart on Wednesday.

Xaver Schlager, Wout Weghorst and Yannick Gerhardt did the damage for the Wolves before Gonzalo Castro pulled a consolation goal back for the hosts in stoppage time.

Wolfsburg move into third position while Stuttgart are in 10th.

Hoffenheim came from two goals down to beat Borussia Monchengladbach 3-2.

Andrej Kramaric bagged a brace and Ihlas Bebou got the other goal for hosts, while Aslassane Plea and Valentino Lazaro got on the scoresheet for Monchengladbach.

Hoffenheim moved up to 11th, while Monchengladbach are seventh.

Werder Bremen fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Mainz on Wednesday evening.

Adam Szalai scored the only goal of the game in the 16th minute to give the visitors all three points.

As a result, Mainz leapfrog Werder Bremen with the luxury of having played a game more.
