Teams: Bayern Munich v Borussia Dortmund
Date: 06 March 2021
Venue: Allianz Arena
Bayern Munich will be looking to regain their form in the Bundesliga when they host Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker on Saturday evening at Allianz Arena.
The match will get underway 19h30.
Bayern have been struggling for form in the league since their FIFA Club World Cup triumph as they failed to win their two games after that and only got back to winning ways with a 5-1 thrashing of FC Koln last Saturday.
However, the Bavarians are still at the top of the log by two points although they could momentarily drop down should second-placed RB Leipzig beat Freiburg in the afternoon fixture.
On the other hand, Dortmund are currently not in the picture for the title race but are fighting for a UEFA Champions League spot after thrashing Borussia Monchengladbach 3-0 last weekend.
Bayern's unavailability list has gone down with Corentin Tolisso and Douglas Costa the only notably absentees while BVB will be without Manuel Akanji, Axel Witsel and Marcel Schmelzer.
Dortmund will be looking to beat Bayern for the first time in the league since November 2018, as the Bavarians have won all the ties since then in the Bundesliga schedule.
Bayern Munich: Neuer, Süle, Boateng, Alaba, Davies, Kimmich, Goretzka, Sané, Müller, Coman, Lewandowski.
Borussia Dortmund: Hitz, Meunier, Hummels, Zagadou, Schulz, Delaney, Can, Dahoud, Reus, Hazard, Haaland.
