Bayern Munich moved seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga after defeating Wolfsburg in a five-goal thriller on Saturday afternoon.
The Bavarians got the breakthrough on 15 minutes when the young Jamal Musiala pounced on a loose ball in the box before skipping past one challenge to fire past Casteels.
The lead was doubled on 26 minutes as Casteels spilled David Alaba's cross into the path of Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting who had the simple task of slotting into an empty net.
Wolfsburg pulled a goal back just over 10 minutes later, with Weg Weghorst sending a fine curling finish beyond Manuel Neuer just a seconds after Leroy Sane squandered a big chance at the other end.
Moments later, the visitors restored their two goal advantage thanks Musiala, who nodded home Thomas Muller's cross to complete his brace.
Wolfsburg came out firing for the second half, which resulted in a second goal as Maximilian Philipp turned home Otavio's cross with a neat finish.
Neuer kept the visitors in front with 25 minutes left on the clock after pulling off a fine save to keep out Weghorst's effort from 12 yards.
Weghorst could have snatched a point for Wolfsburg in the final five minutes but he fired wide from Jerome Roussilon's cross, as the visitors held on for the win.
