A Finnish coach has praised Al Ahly manager Jose Riveiro and his managerial achievements so far.

Lonstrom is the current head coach of Nigerian Professional Football League side Lobi Stars and has managed sides in his native Finland as well as several sides across Europe.
The head coach was speaking to Akhbar El-Yom Sport and praised the Spanish coach for his performances at his previous clubs.
"Riveiro is a remarkable coach with unique talent. He delivered good performances with Finnish clubs Helsinki and Inter Turku before moving to South Africa’s Orlando Pirates," Lonstrom said.
Adding: "I never doubted his success with Orlando, despite the different environments in Europe and Africa. He’s known for striving for success in every role and holds multiple coaching certifications."
The Finn was happy to see the former Bucs coach take the helm at a prestigious club such as Al Ahly.
"I’m happy to see Rivero at Al Ahly — the club of the century in Africa — as they prepare for the Club World Cup in the US next month. I wish him all the best in this second experience in African coaching," the Lobi Stars coach said.
Riveiro's first official match in charge of the Red Devils was against Inter Miami where the two sides drew 0-0.

The Egyptian side will also play Brazilian team Palmeiras and Portuguese giants FC Porto.
