Fresh after winning the Nedbank Cup final and ending Chiefs' 10-year trophy drought, Nabi has now reportedly garnered the attention of several top clubs in Morocco.
This comes after local publication Sunday Times revealed that the Tunisian will depart the Glamour Boys at the end of the current campaign as he failed to deliver on his duties.
"The management and board have had three meetings since April, discussing how to steady the ship because things are not working to their expectations," the report said.
"It was decided that he will leave with his entire technical team," the report from Sunday Times added.
Interestingly, Moroccan publication Le Site Info are now claiming that Nabi is interested in making a return to Morocco ahead of next season.
The 59-year-old previously coached AS FAR Rabat where they narrowly missed out on the Botola Pro 1 title with just one point as Raja Casablanca won the league.
Arabic outlet Le Site Info report that a source close to the Chiefs coach claims that Nabi is looking at clubs in Morocco in the hopes of making a return.
"Those close to the Tunisian coach are currently testing the waters with several Moroccan clubs — most notably Raja and Wydad — in hopes of bringing him back to Moroccan football," the publication said.
