In an exclusive interview with SuperSport, Mokwena openly spoke about a return to management and said he would consider offers from his former side Orlando Pirates.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns boss revealed that he had received multiple offers from clubs in South Africa and abroad but there was one offer he would not consider.
Mokwena ruled out any offers from Zamalek due to the club's link with his mentor and fellow South African coach Pitso Mosimane.
"Maybe the easiest to beat would be Zamalek," Mokwena said on the Africa Soccer show.
"I didn’t hear from them after I had said I heard that coach Pitso was also in the running for this position, and my relationship and my respect for him would not allow me to compete for the same job with Pitso,” he explained.
