Fluminense leapfrogged Mamelodi Sundowns into second spot in Group F after defeating Ulsan HD 4-2 in the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Brazilian side came into the contest looking to claim maximum points after playing to a goalless draw against Borussia Dortmund, while Ulsan suffered a defeat to Sundowns.
After long spells of domination, Fluminense got the breakthrough on 26 minutes through Jhon Arias, who curled home a lovely free-kick from around 25 yards out.
However, Ulsan managed to restore parity in the 37th minute when a swift counter-attack ended with Lee Jinhyun firing home from the tightest of angles at the far post.
The turnaround was complete on the stroke of halftime when Jin-Huyn turned provider to pick out Um Won-Sang, who sent a diving header past the Fluminense goalkeeper.
Fluminense came out firing in the second half and were rewarded on 66 minutes when substitute Nonato found the bottom corner with a lovely finish just minutes after coming on.
The Brazilian side then took the lead with eight minutes left on the clock as Juan Freyes pounced on a loose ball in the box and side-footed home to seal the win for his side.
The points were made safe in the third minute of time added on as Keto nodded into the far, sealing the win for Fluminense who leapfrog Sundowns into second spot.
