Ex-Real Madrid Star 'Keen' To Join Rulani At Wydad

Since the offseason, a number of superstar names have been linked with a move to the record Moroccan champions. Before the commencement of the 2024/25 campaign, players such as James Rodríguez were linked with possible moves to the Red Castle.

Ultimately, the Colombian playmaker did not complete a move to the three-time African champions, but it seems they could be luring a former member of Los Blancos in the near future.

Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas has been without a club since he left Nottingham Forest at the end of last season, but now he is looking for a new team.

According to Analkhabar, through intermediaries, the 38-year-old has been offered to the North African giants as he is keen for a new experience in the Botola Pro Inwi, with an eye on also returning to the FIFA Club World Cup.

While the proposition to integrate a trophy-laden goalkeeper such as Navas may be tempting to Wydad, the same report claims they are yet to make a decision on whether to secure his services.

It is alleged that the Moroccan giants are studying the financial feasibility of bringing in such a player, while they still need to consult with head coach Mokwena and sporting director Hassan Benabicha.
