Former Orlando Pirates maestro Joseph Kamwendo has landed new coaching job ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Kamwendo spent last season in the Super League of Malawi but was relieved of his duties by Creck Sporting Club a couple months ago.

However, the 38-year-old is surprisingly heading to a league below after being unveiled at Mchinji Villa FC.
"We are officially announcing the appointment of Joseph Kamwendo as the new head coach of Mchinji Villa Football Club," the club announced on Facebook.
"The contract signing ceremony is currently attended by Mchinji Villa President Shigai Chipeta, Teams Officials and Players at Compass Lodge.
Kamwendo addressed the talk about downgrading from the top-flight to the second tier.
"It wasn’t an easy decision for me to accept this job, but having realised that the coaching panel has a childhood team mate, I felt obliged to come here and give back to my community," Kamwendo said, as per Kamwendo.
Along with coaching Creck, the former Pirates and Vasco da Gama midfielder also had a stint with top-flight side Bangwe All Stars FC.
