The son of the former Barcelona striker enjoyed a fantastic season playing for the Rayo Vallecano B team, where he netted 31 goals in all competitions - 30 for the B team playing in the Tercera Federación (5th tier) and 1 for the senior team in the Copa Del Rey, FootBoom reported.
He played a crucial role in helping his team secure promotion to the Segunda Federación (4th tier) after he netted six goals in six games during the promotion playoffs, according to Transfermarkt.
Despite making a handful of first-team appearances and featuring in several matchday squads on the bench, he was not officially recognised as a first-team player until the Cameroonian seemingly confirmed he will be a first-team player next season.
Speaking after a match against CD Varea, Eto'o told FootBoom that he will now officially join the Rayo Vallecano first-team squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
