Geremi, the President of the National Union of Cameroonian Footballers (Synafoc) is set to challenge Fecafoot's decision to exclude Synafoc from the federation's general assembly, Camfoot reported.
In a statement, Synafoc revealed it would appeal the decision saying it was excluded without valid reasons.
"To achieve this, Fecafoot has created from scratch a procedure that does not exist in any of its texts, namely the withdrawal of approval," the organisation's Daniel Blaise said.
Blaise referred to a ruling issued on 16 November 2024 to exclude Syanfoc from the Assembly, and on 18 November 2024, Synafoc referred the appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
"Until 1 April 2025, the said commission did not see fit to render its decision, including on the question of the interim measures requested by SYNAFOC," Blaise said.
He continued: "Considering itself the victim of a denial of justice, SYNAFOC decided to refer the matter to the CAS, first in conciliation, then in arbitration on 1 May 2025."
Synafoc is now waiting to hear the outcome of the decision by CAS.

"In the meantime, Synafoc calls on its members to stay calm and serene until the final outcome of this deviant procedure in front of CAS," the statement concluded.
