Bucs Players Who Are Expected To Perform This Season

Orlando Pirates will begin their Absa Premiership campaign tomorrow evening against Golden Arrows, but which of their players are expected to shine this season? Let's take a look!

The Buccaneers endured a troubled 2015/16 campaign, when they finished seventh on the PSL log, and they will be looking to improve on that standing.

Muhsin Ertugral has been brought in to help solidify the team, while a number of new faces have also been introduced into the squad.

Today, we take a look five players we expect to shine for Pirates this season.

Oupa Manyisa
After missing most of the campaign with an injury last term, he is hungry to bounce back stronger than ever. The midfielder knows how to pull the strings in the middle of the park, and having him back will certainly be a boost for the team.

Tendai Ndoro
After a strong finish to last season's campaign, where, at one stage, he scored 10 goals in nine games, Ndoro will be looked at to score most of the team's goals.

Riyaad Norodien
A new arrival at the club, but one which brings pace, technique and skill to the flank. Ertugral was the coach who launched his career at Ajax and he will surely get the best out of the 21-year-old.

Abbubaker Mobara
Another signing from the transfer market, Mobara's fitness levels never waver while his versatility will be crucial to the Bucs set-up.

Happy Jele
The defender was consistent throughout the 2015/16 season and he is often considered the club's leader at the back. Unlike Thabo Matlaba, he doesn't leave as much space at the back when pushing forward.

Which player are you expecting to shine for the Sea Robbers this season?
