In recent times, we’ve seen a lot of transfer rumours doing the rounds that involve some of football’s star players. We can’t hide from the fact that even though they’re brushed off as speculation right now, there may be some be some truth behind them.
The Fan Park brings you a list of big-name stars who could be their leaving their clubs this summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo – Real Madrid
The Portuguese star has come under severe criticism of late, and has been linked with a possible move away from Real Madrid. Would he leave? We’re not sure. Perhaps it would seem like he’s accepting defeat to Lionel Messi, and we know how much pride the former Manchester United player has. He’s been linked with the Red Devils, and a move to the MLS.
Angel Di Maria – Manchester United
It’s no surprise to see the Argentine’s name on this list, as he’s been far out of touch this season for the Red Devils. He joined the Old Trafford club for a hefty fee, and arrived with a massive reputation, but there are now talks that he’ll be on his way out at the end of this season.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Paris Saint-Germain
The 33-year-old found himself in trouble recently, with harsh words about France – the country in which he plays. He’s been linked with Liverpool, and according to his agent, a move in the summer is possible. The Swede has never been one to mince his words, has he?
Gareth Bale – Real Madrid
Another Los Blancos player who has been linked with a move away from the club is the Welshman, and we can understand why. He hasn’t been treated too well by fans, and is moaned at every time he doesn’t pass the ball to Ronaldo. If CR7 doesn’t leave, we think the 25-year-old might.
Yaya Toure – Manchester City
The Ivorian hasn’t been at his best since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, where he led his nation to glory, and he’s been linked with a move away from City. His former manager, Roberto Mancini, said he’d love Toure to join him at Inter Milan next season – a move one could never rule out given their close relationship
Can you name any other big named players who could move clubs at the end of the season?
