The Fan Park Crew decided to take a few players that are without contracts at the end of this season and make our very own Free Transfer XI.
Goalkeeper: Sergio Romero
The Argentine goalkeeper is currently at Sampdoria and has been linked with numerous clubs, including Manchester United.
Right-Back: Dani Alves
The Brazilian right back seems to have had enough at Barcelona and since Luis Enrique’s arrival, he hasn’t seemed happy.
Centre-Back: Ron Vlaar
The Aston Villa defender was one of the stars of last year’s World Cup and will be able to leave on a free once his contract is done in November.
Centre-Back: Andrea Ranocchia
The Italian centre- back is in his final season with Inter Milan and has been linked with a few English sides.
Left-Back: Winston Reid
The New Zealander is a centre-back but can be used on the left if needed.
Centre Midfield: Nigel De Jong
The gritty defensive midfielder has been fantastic for his national side and AC Milan this season, but he could be set for a free exit.
Centre Midfield: Michael Carrick
The Red Devils veteran is in his last year of his contract and has been influential for United in recent years.
Centre-Midfield: Sami Khedira
The German World Cup winner has hardly had much game time at Real Madrid and he has said that he will not be staying at the club after this season.
Right Winger: James Milner
James Milner is somewhat like Michael Carrick in the way that he does not get much recognition for his efforts, but is a very useful player.
Striker: Klaas-Jan Huntelaar
Huntelaar is probably one of the most underrated strikers in the world. He has played in many of the top leagues and is a proven goalscorer.
Left Winger: Andre Ayew
The Ghanaian is in the final year of his contract with French side Marseille and it will be a complete shame if he doesn’t move to a bigger league soon.
What would your Free Transfer XI look like?
