It has been an emotional week not only for the football and entertainment fraternities, but for the country as a whole, after former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Anele Ngcongca tragically passed away, just one week after his ex Mshoza.
Last week, the country was distraught after learning that Nomasonto aswanganyi, popularly known as Mshoza, died on 18 November 2020.

Now, the misery has been compounded after news of the former Bafana Bafana defender's death started circulating in local media.
Social media was abuzz with activity as the hashtag #RIPAnele quickly went viral, as fans paid tributes to the former Racing Genk player.
Details around Ngcongca's death are sketchy, but sources close to the player had confirmed that he had succumbed to his injuries after being involved in an accident in the early hours of Monday morning.
