What's the story?
The new Orlando Pirates kit offerings are still one of the most talked-about topics among fans on social media, with the Soweto giants being the first club to showcase their playing jerseys for the upcoming season.
For both shirts, the club underwent a number of changes in the design department, however, it can be said that the away kit is what generated the most buzz.
Previous Away Jersey
For the 20/21 campaign, Pirates shocked their fans when it came to revealing their away strip. Not many supporters saw Bucs opting for a bright orange base colour for their second jersey, with it being one of the most recognizable shirts among clubs in the PSL.
The kit also showcased the skull and bones emblem in place of the traditional club crest, however, it appeared that supporters liked that idea.
Blue Bucs
In breaking away from tradition again, Pirates went for a mint/light blue base colour for their away kit for the upcoming season.
The shirt also sees the return of the usual club logo, while also introducing a v-neck colour and cuffed white sleeves.
