Nike have gone back in the past for inspiration for the future with their latest offering of the Phantom GT boot, 'Scorpion' and it has left the purest fans feeling nostalgic.
Back in 2002, Nike launched the secret tournament campaign, which was based on a virtual 3-a-side tournament format, which consisted of 8 teams comprising of some of the best teams in the world.
The tournament was based on the informal 'first-goal wins' rule and was played out on board a ship.

Football legends like Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, Francesco Totti, Patrick Vieira, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo 'El Phenomeneno', all competing under the watchful eye of coach Eric Cantona.
The modern adaptation of the boot boasts features such as a sleek chrome upper and plate.
There is also the scorpion graphic attached to the boot, while the phrases like 'Secret Tournament' and 'Engineered For Skills', are also featured on the boot.
It is understood that the likes of PSG and France star Kylian Mbappe could be amongst the first footballers in the world to debut the new-look Nike Scorpion boot.
While on the female front, Australian strike sensation, Samantha Kerr, who is often at the forefront of Nike's latest designs, could be another star to debut the boot.
