FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has been in scintillating form of late, but did you see what happened when his boot came off against Sevilla on Sunday?
The Argentine scored his 16th goal of the season in Sunday night's La Liga win against Sevilla, continuing his excellent form.
During the second half, while Barca were leading 2-1, Messi lost his boot in a tackle with a Sevilla player.
The Argentine's boot was ripped as a result of the collision, and for some reason, the match official booked Messi while he was walking over to his bench to get a new boot!

Messi was upset at being booked, and proceeded to throw his boot off the field as he walked off.
