Despite Olympic Setback, Banyana Star Secures Major Deal With Brand

Linda Motlhalo has maintained an important brand deal despite Banyana Banyana missing out on the Paris Olympics.

Check it out!

What's the story?

Although South Africa failed to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games after a narrow 1-0 loss on aggregate to the Super Falcons, Banyana Banyana ace Linda Motlhalo is set to continue her partnership with a global brand!

Motlhalo, who now plies her trade in the United States, took to Instagram to share a short clip to announce the exciting news.

Let's take a closer look...

Linda Motlhalo continues partnership with global brand

Banyana Banyana, the reigning African champions and the number two-ranked women's team in Africa, will miss their second Olympics in succession after their defeat to number one-ranked Nigeria.

Although Motlhalo will be gutted to miss out on another Olympic adventure, she'll be stoked to maintain her partnership with global brand, Coca-Cola.

"Excited to continue my partnership with Team Coca-Cola alongside an incredible lineup of athletes from the [world]. Let's go!" she wrote on Instagram, adding the #Paris2024 Olympics hashtag to her caption.

The deal likely would've been taken to new levels if Banyana qualified for the Olympics, but will surely serve the Racing Louisville's star's personal brand quite well.

Desiree Ellis and the women's national team now shifting their focus to preparing for the 2024 WAFCON in Morocco.
