The South African has been in charge of the Persian Gulf Pro League side since October 2024, and while he started off with three straight defeats, he is now in the midst of a nine-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Currently in 10th position in the Iranian top flight, the Kagiso native is keen to take the next step in the team's evolution, which involves introducing a new formation.

Since taking charge of the Capital Blues, the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly boss has been utilising a system centred around the use of a back three.

According to Vananews, however, Mosimane now wants to play with four defenders and has consequently submitted a transfer wishlist of players who he believes are capable of fulfilling his desired responsibilities.

Reports suggest that the South African coach wants Gholamreza Sabet Imani, Aref Gholami, and Mohammad Mehdi Lotfi. It is said that Pitso desires for the deals to be wrapped up swiftly.

It is alleged that the three-time CAF Champions League winner has insisted that the club must sign these players by all means so that he can implement his preferred 4-4-2 formation as soon as the league campaign resumes.
