Pitso Mosimane's Abha Club recorded a hugely significant victory on Thursday night to boost their chances of surviving relegation following a dramatic late winner – here is what they need to stay in the division.

In what could be Abha's most important three points of the 2023/24 season, the Leaders of the South beat Al Khaleej 2-1 at home on Thursday to give themselves a good chance of staying in the Saudi top flight.
Mosimane was appointed on a short-term basis in January and has now claimed 18 points from his 14 matches in charge.
Abha took the lead through Guinea international Francois Kamano in the 34th minute and held on to their advantage until the 78th minute, when their opponents equalised through Abdulla Al Salem.
Just as it looked like Mosimane's side would be going into the final match of the season in the relegation zone, Argentine centre-back Fabian Noguera scored in the 94th minute to secure a vital three points for Abha.
The team now needs a victory over bottom-of-the-log side Al Hazm next week Monday to guarantee their place in the Saudi Pro League next term, although a draw could work in their favour, too, should both Al Tai and Al Akhdoud drop points.
Abha are currently 15th on the 18-team table, one point ahead of 16th-placed Al Tai and two points in front of 17th-placed Al Akhdoud.
