Former Orlando Pirates manager Josef Zinnbauer has reportedly made a promise to Raja Club Athletic amid rumours he may leave the Moroccan giants at the end of the season.

The German tactician is enjoying a successful debut full season in charge of the Green Eagles. The Schwandorf native's side is currently undefeated in all domestic competition, and is vying to win both the Botola Pro League as well as the Throne Cup.
The ex-Buccaneers tactician has turned the north African giants' fortunes around after they finished 2022/23 in fifth place, ending that campaign without a trophy and missing out on continental football this season.
Now, the Casablanca-based club could end the ongoing campaign with a domestic double, and Zinnbauer's efforts on the Raja bench are believed to have caught the attention of clubs in the Middle East.
According to Assabah, while there may be offers in the likes of Saudi Arabia and Qatar for him, the 54-year-old has promised Raja president Mohamed Boudrika and the rest of the club's chiefs that he has no plans to leave at the end of the season as he wants to achieve great results in next season's CAF Champions League.

After winning Africa's premier club competition in the 1998/99 season, Raja have perhaps underachieved in the tournament. The three-time continental kings have only made it as far as the semi-finals three times in the 15 editions it has taken part in since last winning the competition.
