Major & Sundowns Ballers Nurture Future Stars

Lehlohonolo Majoro and Teboho Mokoena took some time to conduct coaching clinics in efforts to nurture the talents of South African football's future stars.

Check it out!

What's the story?

With the off-season well and truly underway, it gives footballers the opportunity to give back some of their expertise where they can and football clinics is always a good opportunity for ballers to do so.

Teboho Mokoena roped in some of his Sundowns teammates to help him conduct a football clinic in his home province, while free agent Lehlohonolo Majoro partnered with VW to conduct a clinic at Johannesburg private school.

Through his Teboho Mokoena Foundation, the PSL Player of the Year alongside teammates Mothobi Mvala, Aubrey Modiba and Grant Kekana held a football clinic at the Central University of Technology (CUT) in Bloemfontein this week.

With retired the ex-Sundowns skipper Hlompho Kekana also in attendance, they also took time to motivate the CUT football side ahead of the 2023 Varsity Cup season.

At the end of the session, each participant was handed a certificate with Mokoena likely to host similar clinics in the Free State province in the future.

Majoro on the other hand coached a group of children from Northerns FC with their coach David Ribeiro at Curro Waterfall and conducted and the training session was in partnership with Volkswagen for the VW Vaya Cup.
