With two major tournaments coming up in the new season, Bafana Bafana striker Percy Tau's search for a new club has never been more important.
Tau has had a tough love situation with Bafana head coach Hugo Broos, who was not willing to select him for the national team when he was no longer a regular at Al Ahly last year, before his departure to Qatar.
The 31-year-old striker has become a free agent after his short term deal was renewed by Qatar SC and after featuring in the previous World Cup qualifiers, 'The Lion of Judah', in choosing a new club, will be wary that he to be impress Broos to secure a ticket to Morocco at the end of the year, after South Africa qualified for the AFCON finals.

Broos' charges are also in a good position to qualify for the FIFA World Cup which will take place at the back end of the upcoming season.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns striker has admitted, however, that the longer it takes for him to find a new club, the less options he'll have.
"There's still more from me, I feel I can still play and contribute to any club and I'm willing to listen to any proposals, we'll see where I end up choosing, but I'm willing to listen. I'm not gonna pre-judge," Tau said on 947's MSW.

"I'm a free agent, I can listen, we'll (if) South Africa or the North or again we go to Qatar or Saudi or it could also be Belgium, I'll see.
"It's my first time in this position and I understand clubs may deal with this matter differently, some will wait, some will be quick. The longer it takes the less power I'll have. But we'll see. Most seasons start in August, so there's time. But I'm not used to this, I'm also rushing (to have a new team)," the former Al Ahly attacker added.
