Jantjie was close to signing a deal with Free State Stars in August after impressing the club's technical team.
However, Mbombela convinced the player to sign a one-year deal at the beginning of the campaign after he helped them earn promotion to the NFD last season.
The 26-year-old has been influential for Mbombela this season and his impressive performances have not gone unnoticed.
Jantjie scored both goals for his team in their 2-0 win against Moroka Swallows earlier in the campaign and a source close to the player confirmed to the Siya crew that the winger's form has attracted interest from a trio of PSL outfits.
"Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Ajax Cape Town have all been monitoring the player," the source told the Siya crew.
"The player's contract with Mbombela United will expire in June next year. In the last six months of his contract, he will be free to talk to any of the interested clubs," said the source.
