Hadebe spent almost the entire season on the side-lines at Dikwena, owing to a knee injury.
The 28-year-old made one start for the North West outfit, during their MTN8 campaign in August last year.
The Standerton-born player overcame his injury troubles this year, towards the end of the 2014/15 Absa Premiership campaign.
The player's agent, Ali Tlhoaele, confirmed to the Siya crew that Hadebe is on a new deal at Stars.
"I can confirm to you that Platinum Stars have exercised their option on Sibusiso Hadebe's contract. He played in their last game of the season against (Bidvest) Wits. He came on as a substitute in the second half of that game," said Tlhoaele.

Hadebe is hoping to remain injury-free for a chance to impress Cavin Johnson, as he will be working on becoming a regular in his team next season.
