Senzo Meyiwa's Suspected Killer In Court Today

The man implicated in the murder of the late Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates captain, Senzo Meyiwa, is expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate's Court today (Tuesday, November 11).   Zanokuhle Mbatha, 25, was arrested a few days after the crime was committed and has been in police custody ever since.   'Nzori' was shot and killed in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, while visiting his singer and actress girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo last month.   Two people allegedly entered the house and demanded cellphones before shooting Meyiwa and fleeing.   The police working on the case have already confirmed that they are confident Mbatha played a part in the crime, but could not say if indeed Mbatha pulled the trigger of the gun that led to Senzo's death.   Mbatha will be making his second court appearance, after he appeared in court on October 31. He is yet to plead.
