Sali is approaching the end of his contract with the club, as his current deal is set to expire in June.
Apart from a separate incident in which the Lady Frere-born player was publicly criticised by his coach Dan Malesela for underperforming, the midfielder has been one of the consistent players for the Port Elizabeth outfit this season.
"The club is yet to advise about their plans for the player. He is one of the players with their contracts coming to an end," a source told the Siya crew.
