Ghanaian attacker Stephen Amankona, who has been offered to the PSL’s “Big Three” clubs, has officially wrapped up the 2024/25 season as the Golden Boot winner in the Ghana Premier League.

Amankona, who plies his trade with Berekum Chelsea, finished the campaign with 15 goals – earning him the league’s top scorer award for a second successive season.

The 25-year-old forward was recently the subject of a Siya crew report, which revealed that his representatives have offered his services to Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, and Mamelodi Sundowns as the player looks to take the next step in his career.

According to Ghanaian media reports, Amankona’s performances have caught the attention of several clubs across the continent, with his consistency in front of goal and sharp attacking instincts making him one of the most sought-after players in the Ghanaian top flight.

While the competition for his signature is expected to intensify, sources indicate that the forward is keen on a new challenge outside Ghana, and the Betway Premiership remains a potential destination.

With back-to-back Golden Boot accolades under his belt and his market value on the rise, any club hoping to land the in-form attacker will need to move swiftly, particularly with interest also growing from North Africa and other regions.

As things stand, Amankona’s camp is believed to be open to offers, and it remains to be seen whether one of Mzansi’s giants will take the next step and open formal negotiations.
