Orlando Pirates have confirmed that they have signed Namibian striker, Theophilus 'Junior' Tsowaseb on a three-year deal.
On Tuesday the Siya crew reported that the 24-year-old striker has signed for the Buccaneers after spending two weeks on trial at the club. This was after Tsowaseb confirmed his move to The Namibian Sport, saying he was "very happy to be at such a great club."
Now Pirates Administrative Manager, Floyd Mbele, has finally confirmed that they have signed the striker.
"Yes, we have signed Tsowaseb on a three-year contract, but as you know, he will only play for us next season because the transfer period is closed," commented Mbele.
Meanwhile, Mbele confirmed that no decision has been taken on trialist William Owusu yet.
The former Sporting Lisbon striker has been training with the Buccaneers for some time now, with the hope of earning himself a contract with Eric Tinkler's team.
"I know I said we'll make the decision before the end of the week, but the technical team has not submitted the report on him yet, so the decision will only be made after the management has seen his report," explained Mbele.
