Magesi FC head coach Owen da Gama lamented the absence of Samuel Darpoh in the 1-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs.
The Limpopo were unable to build on their win over SuperSport United on the weekend after losing to the Soweto giants on Tuesday evening.
Da Gama claims Darpoh's presence would have helped Magesi defensively against Chiefs.

"We got seven days till the next game against Richards Bay, hopefully the injured players will… we didn't really want to push them and they are out for three-four weeks," Da Gama told SuperSport after the game.
"But we really keeping our fingers crossed that Darpoh can come back you know so that he can stabilise that defence again," Da Gama noted.
"He was absolutely brilliant against SuperSport, but we missed today. But in saying that we can only give it our best and well done to Chiefs."
The Magesi coach, however, did claim that Chiefs deserved maximum points on the night.
"Look, we don't really have the quality in depth. We tried to change around because of the injuries, but let's be fair Chiefs were the better team today. They could've scored more goals, we defended pathetically," he added.
"But it's the first time we played with that defence due to injuries, but you never know on the day who is going to do what but the boys gave it their all.
"You must give credit to Chiefs, they were the better team and they won today," Da Gama continued.
