The Siya crew has gathered that Mbulelo Oldjohn Mabizela has plans to return to the football landscape, by using his experience to educate young players.
Mabizela made a name for himself in the 2000s at Orlando Pirates and went on to represent Bafana Bafana before moving to English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur.
OJ was ranked one of the top South African footballers at the time, but off-field challenges hindered his progress.
AmaZulu FC launched the AmaZulu Business College, an initiative to assist players in planning life after football through retirement plans, business interests and other social activities.
Usuthu media officer, Brilliant Mkhathini was mum on whether Mabizela will be roped in by the club, and sidestepped questions related to OJ's role.
"He was a guest. Him and Lucas Radebe. Rhoo spoke about how players can prolong their brands beyond their playing days while Mabizela spoke in a more of a testimonial (aspect) and using his story," Mkhathini told the Siya crew.
