The Siya crew reported over the weekend that the loan could be in jeopardy, with the German outfit preparing to pull the plug if there wasn't a finalisation of the deal soon.
Now it has been confirmed that the move could fall through, with the club's head international scout, Lutz Pfannenstiel, explaining that they have already started looking for other options for the Zimbabwean striker.
Pfannenstiel told the crew, "We're still in contact with Chiefs, but we haven't heard anything for a few days now, so we've started looking for other options for Knowledge should his loan with Chiefs fall through."

With Stuart Baxter having previously stated that he thought all was in place for the forward to return to Naturena, and the player having agreed personal terms for the move, the news will come as a blow to the Amakhosi faithful who had been looking forward to the 24-year-old's third stint at the club.
