Highlands Park will unveil their new players and kit ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The Lions of the North regained their PSL status after only one season in the National First Division and now look to maintain their status in the South African top flight. The club is set to announce their new players on Wednesday 25 July 2018.
Meanwhile, Soccer Laduma has reported that former Bidvest Wits goalkeeper, Kyle Peters has been training with Highlands Park since parting ways with Wits. Though it has not yet been confirmed, Siya sources have indicated that the 25-year-old Cape Town shot-stopper has impressed Highland's technical staff.
The Siya crew also reported that former Polokwane City defender, Thabiso Semenya was one of the players touted as a possible signing for the Lions of the North, however, indications are that the signing is now unlikely to happen.
"I can tell that we want to remain in the PSL, we do not want to become a yo-yo team that bounces between the PSL and the NFD, said the club's director, Sinki Mnisi.
"Should we make the top 8 it will be a bonus but we want to preserve our PSL status," he added.
