TS Sporting and Benson Mhlongo have amicably parted ways, with the Siya crew being led to believe that a disagreement between management and coach led to the separation.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates midfielder has left the club just a few months after his return to the club was confirmed in January. Indications are that Mhlongo has been frustrated with interference from the top, with the club believed to be concerned about the style of play.
Sporting have had a difficult campaign in the GladAfrica Championship, with the possibility of getting relegated to the ABC Motsepe League at the end of the season. The Mpumalanga-based outfit is currently second from bottom on the standings, just a point ahead of 16th placed Black Leopards.
There are seven matches left in the season and there is little room for error in the final few months of the campaign for the club.

The Siya crew contacted club chairman Slungu Thobela for a comment to clarify the talk of interference, but he was unable to respond.
