The in-demand midfielder has been hot property since he opted to leave SuperSport United by mutual consent last month, with a host of top-flight clubs vying for the signature of the Bafana Bafana international.
Bloemfontein Celtic, Platinum Stars and Maritzburg United have all shown interest in landing Alexander of late, but the Siya crew has been informed that it was the Clever Boys that won the race to bring him on board.
Alexander, 28, will now be looking to get back to his best in Braamfontein, seeking to emulate the form that saw him nominated for the Absa Premiership Footballer and Midfielder of the Season awards a couple of seasons ago.

Wits, who are keen to finish their campaign on a high, are expected to announce Alexander's signature imminently, adding the talented midfield man to their ranks, bringing to an end the speculation of where the next chapter in his career will be played out.
Siya sources have suggested that the player has been given a tempting contract at Wits as they beat off interest for the highly-rated attacker.
