Cape Town City are monitoring the progress of a star midfielder, who recently trained with a club from France.

The Mother City club is following the player, Anslin Grant Lester Williams, with interest, and monitoring his progress, as reported in edition 1044 of Soccer Laduma,
Williams is a 19-year-old left-sided midfielder, who recently trained with the French second-tier club, Valenciennes. The talented player is currently on the books of Gauteng ABC Motsepe League team, Baberwa FC.

He recently spent time in Cape Town under the watchful eye of City coach, Benni McCarthy, according to his employers at the Gauteng-based third-tier club.
Baberwa boss, Joe Seanego, confirmed to the Siya crew that the young star is attracting interest.

"Benni likes Williams. But at the moment he's going to continue playing for us. Besides, I don't want him to go as we're looking to win promotion into the NFD. So I'd rather give the player an increase," said Seanego.
