Reneilwe 'Yeye' Letsholonyane recently left Mzansi as part of the plans to equip himself in his new role as a coach after hanging up his boots.
Having retired at the end the 2020/21 season after a stint with TS Galaxy, Letsholonyane surfaced at Pimville Young Stars last year to begin his journey in coaching, as reported by the Siya crew.
As part of the plans to equip himself with the necessary knowledge on how things are done at the different clubs and leagues, Letsholonyane travelled to Botswana where he spent time with that country's leading club Gaborone United this week.
While some talk in the fraternity is that the former Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United star could be closing in on a move to Botswana's log leaders, the club confirmed that the 39-year-old is there on a visit.
"Former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs star midfielder Reneilwe 'Yeye' Letsholonyane visited The Reds during our Thursday morning training session at Lekidi football grounds. Yeye had a time to chat to our coaches and management," Gaborone United confirmed on the club's social media platforms.
Letsholonyane holds the SAFA/CAF C Licence and a B Licence, while he has also been doing the Scottish B licence, among other coaching qualifications.
