The Siya crew can reveal that newly-promoted Mpumalanga Black Aces have snatched up former Orlando Pirates midfielder, Onyekachi Okonkwo.
According to Soccer-Laduma informants, Okonkwo has passed his medical at the club and signed on the dotted line this morning!
The Nigerian midfielder did not see much game time under Roger De Sa last season, in his second stint with the Parktown-based club, with his contract having subsequently been terminated at the end of the 2012/13 campaign.
Okonkwo will undoubtedly be expected to play a key part in Clive Barker's team in the 2013/14 campaign, where their primary objective will be to maintain their PSL status, although with signings like Okonkwo, the team will be looking to challenge for silverware.
