Clubs are in their final stages of preparations for the new season, and they have been working hard behind the scenes with the signings they made in July.

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs have been busy in the market, while defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns have made just one signing in July.
Some of the other clubs in the league that have been working strategically in terms of signings are Stellenbosch FC and Sekhukhune United, who are both looking to ensure they finish in the top four again this season after an impressive campaign from them last time round.

With over a month to go before the window, there is a lot expected to be done in August as teams look to finalise the squads that will compete in the different competitions this season.
