The story
PUMA and Manchester City have unveiled the club's 2025/26 Home kit, marking a historic first as the iconic sash design – a feature traditionally reserved for Away kits – makes its debut on the Home jersey.
The new look blends City's classic sky-blue with a crisp white diagonal sash, reimagined with a modern twist that connects the club’s rich heritage with its future.
The sash, a tribute to the 1970s kits worn by legends like Mike Summerbee, Colin Bell, Francis Lee, and Tony Book, now takes centre stage on the Home strip, symbolising continuity across generations of City supporters.
To mark the launch, Manchester City and PUMA released a unique short film directed by Glenn Kitson. Set in the Clayton Official Supporters Club – a stone's throw from the Etihad Stadium – the film captures the spirit of City fandom.
It features cameos from Man City stars such as Erling Haaland, Manuel Akanji, Oscar Bobb, and Alex Greenwood, all taking part in a tongue-in-cheek talent show hosted by comedian John Thompson. The video celebrates community, football, and the joy of being a City fan.
The new Home kit is available in both Authentic and Replica versions. The Authentic Jersey, as worn by the players, is made with PUMA's ultra-light ULTRAWEAVE fabric for optimal on-pitch performance.
The Replica Jersey offers the same standout style in a more relaxed fit, ideal for everyday wear.
In line with PUMA's sustainability goals, the Replica kit is produced through the RE:FIBRE initiative, using at least 95% recycled textile and polyester waste — an important move towards circular production without compromising quality.
Fans will see the men's first team debut the new Home kit at the FIFA Club World Cup in the USA, which kicks off in June.
The 2025/26 Manchester City Home kit is available from Tuesday, 13 May at various PUMA stores and online, as well as leading retailers including Totalsports, Sportsmans Warehouse, Studio 88, Takealot, and JD Sports, with a retail price of R1 399.
