The story
George Matlou is truly committed to the full-kit post-final trophy celebrations as the Amakhosi midfielder is still in his matchday gear after his club's historic Nedbank Cup triumph on Saturday.
Matlou replaced Chiefs attacker Makabi Lilepo in the 88th minute of the final, helping to further stabilise the Glamour Boys' midfield to take them over the line, ending a decade-long trophy hoodoo against their fierce rivals, Orlando Pirates.
The skilful midfielder was one of the more passionate celebrators when Nasreddine Nabi's men lifted the NBK Cup title, as he was pictured singing with the fans while donning a Makarapa.
The baller also had a blast in the changerooms, showing fans some exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the team's celebrations on his IG live.
From the stadium to the team hotel and the airport, Matlou's kit and yellow compression tights remained on with his medal dangling around his neck as he continued to revel in victory with his equally elated teammates.
