Orlando Pirates are yet to respond to Stuart Baxter's invitation to Rhulani Mokwena to join up with the Bafana squad.
During the announcement of his chosen squad that will represent South Africa in the upcoming friendly tournament in Zambia, Baxter roped coach Rhulani into the national team.
While awaiting an official statement from the Soweto giants as to whether or not they will allow Mokwena to go with the national team, Supporters Club members shared their views on whether or not they think Rhulani should answer to the clarion call, with some believing that it is a bit too soon for the Bucs coach to be drenched with national team responsibilities.
"Mokwena might be a good coach but what did he do to justify the invitation? How many young coaches do we have that could have been invited? We have Dan Masalesa who was a head coach and Bernard Molekwa from Polokwane City, etc. What is the criteria of choosing who gets into the national team?" – EagleEye
